So our house has taken a longgggg time to paint. 2100sf, and before we moved in we got burnt out of painting quick! Our master was deep red that we had to prime THREE times . . . then paint TWICE. That alone was enough. We also painted Owens', the girls' room, the loft (TV room), and hallway. Leaving the main floor with vaulted ceilings untouched. So a year later, we are trying it again. You can see in the pics that the paint previous is PINK!!! So, the ceiling will be white as well as this wall. The remaining will be painted some earthy color TBA.

Too bad you don't live closer! Dave and I have become quite the painting duo with all these apartments. Can't wait to see what you decide on color wise for the living room!
I'm headed to the hardware store tomorrow to look at colors for our rooms...for the five years we've been married we've moved apartments every year - keeps things interesting I guess. Since we won't be moving this year I'm changing paint colors to mix things up a bit! :)
