Kali & Meg played on the same team this year, and Jason was their coach. It was quite the season. It's funny to see the difference between the 6 yr olds and the 7 yr olds. The 6 yr olds half the time would be in La-La-Land, and the first three games Meg was playing on the field and ran off the field to pick me some flowers, delivered them to me, then returned to play in the game. The 7 yr olds were much more determined to get goals and to win the game. Kali & Meg got thier first goal this year! They were so excited about that!! I know that they don't keep track of winning/losing at the U8 level, but for us soccer players (Jas & I) we just couldn't resist not keeping track of how the girls did and who made goals. We were ALMOST undefeated! ESPECIALLY when U8's aren't supposed to have goalies. We were the ONLY team that NEVER used a goalie!!! Here is our record for the year!
